Who is Jesus to me, Monique?
In all my life, (well the whole 15 years of it!) I've heard what many have had to say about the man that was Jesus. Some say he was a 'good man', a teacher, a prophet, a fraud, others say the Son of God who died and rose again 3 days later to save us from our sins, or a man who lived on this earth a long time ago, set some rules to follow, lived a 'humble life' and then died. But who is Jesus to me??
I've grown up in a Christian family, and I have grown to love and follow the name that is Jesus.
Jesus to me is the Son of God, who came to this earth, 2000 years ago- who was fully God but in human form. He was born to a virgin, Mary, in a stable, and he grew up leading a perfect life- without sin. He began his ministry where he healed the sick, raised the dead, cast out demons, calmed a storm, fed multitudes of people with little food, taught the people about the Kingdom of God, and in all he did he did it with great authority. Then after the passover meal with his disciples, He was betrayed into the hands of the Romans, who crucified Him on a cross, despite His innocence. The sky went dark, the temple curtain tore in two, and he died as a ransom for many. He was buried in a guarded tomb, but 3 days later, he rose again from the grave- overcoming even death itself to prove who He was and so that whoever would believe and follow Him, could have eternal life in heaven and a restored relationship with God that used to be broken because of Sin. (John 3:16). I personally have recieved this salvation through Jesus even though the bible says, "we have all fallen short of the Glory of God"- Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. I have found purpose and meaning in my life, that I should live in a way that is pleasing to God, following Christ's example, and I will find true fulfilment of life.
Jesus Christ is my personal Lord and Saviour. Jesus himself says, "I have come so that you may have life, and life to the full." For this reason my hope is found in the name of Jesus.

Who does Jesus mean to me, Stephanie?
Before you start reading this, the first thing you must understand is that Jesus in the view of Stephanie Pratt is not simple or clear cut. It is complicated, blurry around the edges and still being formed and changed even as you read this. But for now, this is how I see him . . .
One thing I see Jesus as is a teacher, but a wise, kind and understanding teacher. The kind of teacher that tells it to you strait, that doesn’t sugar coat the truth, but also doesn’t make finding out the truth easy. I also believe Jesus was a man, he was born (just like the rest of us) and he grew up (also like the rest of us) and then he died. I think that even though his life was filled with important lessons, his death was the biggest thing of all.
Generally, in today’s society people view death as a terrible, probably painful thing that always means the end. But the most fascinating thing about Jesus’ death, was that it was exactly the opposite of the end, because when Jesus died – the most excruciatingly painful, lonely and humiliating way anyone could ever die – it meant the beginning. The beginning of a change for followers of Him. It meant that there was no longer this enormous separation between us and God. It meant that the curtain, this enormous curtain more than two stories high and made of the thickest material halved and crumpled, because of what He did.
Matthew 27:51 : At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split.
So when someone asks me who I think Jesus is, I say there is no one word or phrase to describe Jesus, because the sacrifice he made was well above and beyond anything we can comprehend but just in reach of something we can spend our whole lives being thankful for.
